Monitoring humidity and temperature of a test LAB

DYKON A/S in Lunderskov, Denmark, is the leading manufacturer of down and feather duvets and pillows in the North.

DYKON is using the trendlog.io solution to track power and gas consumption and the amount of waste water from the factory.
The production is monitored to measure the efficiency of the equipment and the teams and all the data and trends is displayed on Trendboards that can be viewed on computers, tablets and smartphones.

In the LAB they test the quality of the down and feather. During these tests it is very important that the humidity is on the same level for each test.

A wireless humidity and temperature sensor was installed (AMB8569-M-TF) in the LAB. The sensor is small (65x50x30mm) and is battery powered with a life time of approx. 10-12 years. The sensor communicates over the wireless m-bus protocol which is supported by the trendlog.io Data Forwarder. The sensor sends out a message every 15 minutes with the humidity and temperature information. The message is collected, processed and sent to the trendlog.io cloud solution.

Historical data can then be monitored and a report is created to document the test environment.
